Two Early Enrollees

Georgia had two freshman enroll early, allowing them to get some classes under their belt and go through spring practice.

The first was junior college transfer Jakar Hamilton of Georgia Military College – a 6′2″ 195 pound safety and JUCO All-American – who should immediately push for one of the two starting positions at safety, vacated by Reshad Jones and Bryan Evans. Hamilton had 88 tackles, 6 interceptions, 13 pass break-ups, and two tackles-for-loss last season for GMC.

Also, Kolton Houston – a 6′5″ 270 pound offensive guard prospect from Buford High School – joined Hamilton in enrolling early. Houston is the former high school teammate of offensive guard Dallas Lee.

Both are ranked as “four-star prospects” by rivals.com and scout.com and should factor immediately into the rotations at their respective positions.
