Georgia offensive lineman Jonathan Owens was arrested and charged with driving a motorcycle without a license Thursday afternoon, becoming the third player in the past five weeks to be arrested on a traffic charge.
Owens, a redshirt freshman from Blountsville, Ala., was arrested at East Carlton Street and River Road by University police. He was booked into the Clarke County Jail at 3:39 p.m. and released at 5:51 p.m. on a $500 bond. A reserve on the offensive line, Owens has appeared in one game this season.
Offensive lineman Vince Vance and cornerback Vance Cuff were arrested in traffic incidents last month.
