The Georgia football team went light on Tuesday, practicing in only shoulder pads and shorts following Monday’s scrimmage.

The Georgia football team held its first scrimmage in full pads Monday night in Sanford Stadium.
For the majority of spring practice the defense had been recognized as holding a slight edge on the offensive team, in energy, and making plays.

Kiante Tripp came to Athens as a defensive lineman, playing there as a freshman.
Then he spent last season as part of a very young Georgia offensive line, also seeing some playing time at tight end.

A former Georgia football player left a special present for the police officer that arrested him Sunday morning.
Kelin Johnson, a standout defensive back at Georgia from 2004-07, was arrested on East Campus Road at 2:11 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence and failure to maintain lane.

Inclement weather will keep Georgia from practicing Friday. The Bulldogs were scheduled for a full-contact scrimmage in Sanford Stadium.
There has not been any word of making the session up at a later date.
Georgia will resume practice Monday, March 30.
